Where to get vegan curbside, pickup and delivery in Austin during closures

UPDATE: Mayor Adler announced, May 8, that Austin will continue to social distancing orders through the end of May.

UPDATE: Mayor Steve Adler announced, March 24, that Austin and Travis County will shelter-in-place. Like before, all bars and restaurant dining rooms are still closed, and so are non-essential business. Luckily, food is essential, and restaurants can still provide curbside, pickup and delivery.

Mayor Steve Adler announced, March 17, that all bars and restaurant dining rooms will close until May 1. In response, here are some things you can do to continue supporting your local vegan spots during these closures.

For restaurants offering curbside, pickup or delivery, call or order online. Some restaurants will deliver within a specific distance radius. But for deliveries outside of their area, check out Favor, Grubhub, Postmates or Uber Eats. These delivery services are still running at the time of this post.

In addition to ordering takeout, you can buy gift cards from the shop’s website. Your gift cards will help support owners during this slower period.

Below is an alphabetical list of restaurants offering curbside, pickup and delivery services. We’ll update this list as news comes in, so check back often.

HOLY SHIT YALL…Our new website is finally launched, where we offer a limited menu for this weekend (10-2 Sat/Sun) for contact free pickup and delivery, and flat rate shipping! This is our first time doing it and we are operating without staff, so PLEASE BE NICE TO US!!! We are doing our best, but surely there will be some shit to work out. Pre-order items are available now including Mother’s Day Cookie Cakes and Variety Boxes, but if you miss out on pre-order, different stock will be available during business hours, so check back.   4. I ordered from Ararat ToGo + Coffee window this week. They are on GrubHub and Favor. Vegan options. For large orders and more vegan options they have a catering side of the house too. I’ve been told you can call direct for those.
